Award-winning copywriter and brand strategist Winnie Anderson solves sales mysteries for consultants, coaches, and licensed service professionals and their growing firms. Winnie’s background includes 15+ years in human resources where she specialized in organizational development, training, and recruiting for service-based firms. She transitioned to copywriting, brand strategy, and sales where her understanding of behavior, motivation, and learning lead her to approach marketing and sales from the perspective of the buyer. This allows her to identify and fix problems in sales processes that help inspire buyers to decide to buy faster and easier. Her strategies led to an association leader inspiring a regional health system to become a sponsor less than 24-hours after the leader worked with Winnie for 6 hours. She created the sales process for a promotional products firm which lead to a 20% increase in revenues two years in a row, and she created a sales kit that brought in $400,000 worth of new business in only four months. That kit also won a silver prize in the 2007 International Davey Awards.
Winnie is a self-described “learning junkie†and holds several certifications in addition to her undergraduate degree in education, masters in human resources, and additional graduate credit in psychology and counseling. But it’s her “degree from the school of hard knocks†she’s most proud of having overcome a challenging childhood and triumphing over a traumatic brain injury from a serious auto accident. Winnie is a featured contributor to Personal Branding for Dummies, and is writing a series of books called Sell Without Being Salesy. She loves gardening, birding, and has an extensive collection of Sherlock Holmes books and memorabilia. Originally from South Jersey, she lives in western New York with her husband and two rescue cats.
